Define each measuring point
A pump skid may need separate suction and discharge readings. Mark both locations on the piping drawing and state whether the measurements support local indication, a PLC trend or pump control. Do not select both ranges from discharge pressure alone: the suction point may have a different pressure reference and operating envelope.
Build a realistic pressure envelope
Record normal pressure, start and stop conditions, the highest credible pressure and any vacuum condition. Ask the equipment designer about surge protection and the permitted overload at the instrument. A wider measuring range is not a substitute for checking pressure spikes and the mechanical rating of the connection.
Compare WESIVO candidates
The WESIVO 720 is a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor with stainless-steel wetted parts. The WESIVO 728 adds local LCD indication in its industrial transmitter design. Review their individual documentation against the medium, connection, required output, ambient conditions and available installation space before choosing a configuration.
Prepare the inquiry and handover
Send a marked-up skid drawing, pressure values, water temperature, thread or flange standard, signal requirement and quantity per skid. At commissioning, compare the displayed engineering units and PLC scaling with the ordered range. Record an accessible reference reading and retain the instrument tag, order details and calibration document with the equipment file.

泵组可能需要分别监测入口与出口压力。请在管路图上标记测点，说明用于就地显示、PLC 趋势记录还是泵组控制。入口的压力基准与工作范围可能不同，不宜仅依据出口压力统一选量程。
整理真实的压力边界
记录正常压力、启停工况、可能出现的最高压力与负压。向设备设计方确认防冲击措施及仪表允许过载。扩大测量范围不能代替对压力冲击和连接机械承压能力的核对。
