Define the pressure reference
State whether you need gauge, absolute or differential pressure. Record normal operating pressure, the minimum and maximum, and any vacuum conditions. Identify start-up or shutdown pressure peaks separately.
Describe the medium and temperature
Name the fluid, its concentration where relevant, and the process and ambient temperatures. Flag particles, crystallization or cleaning processes for a material and connection review.
Check the mechanical interface
Specify the complete thread or flange standard, size and sealing arrangement. Include available installation space and the position of the pressure tapping. A drawing helps clarify a replacement requirement.
Confirm signal and acceptance requirements
List the receiving system, required output, supply voltage and cable entry. State the required accuracy and its basis, calibration documentation, quantity and any project-specific approvals. Confirm these against the selected model’s documentation.
