Start with the decision the comparison must support

Write down whether the project needs a temporary comparison with an existing indicator, a survey at several locations or an assessment for a permanent 仪表. Identify the pipe tag and the existing 仪表 tag separately. Agree what the result will be used for before selecting equipment. A comparison record should not be presented as a certified 校准 unless the agreed method and evidence actually support that scope.

Create one traceable pipe information sheet

Attach a dimensioned drawing and identify which values are measured, taken from records or still unconfirmed. Use the companion technical article to keep the metal pipe dimensions, internal lining and external layers in separate fields. Record the revision and the exact measurement location. A drawing for another branch or a nominal size copied from a purchase order should not silently become the installation geometry.

Include a practical site review

Send labelled photographs showing the proposed position, access and nearby fittings. Ask the selected supplier to review the actual pipe condition, fluid conditions, required installation arrangement and applicable manual. Record any required preparation and the responsible party. Do not assume that success at the published case site proves suitability for another liner, coating, fluid or mounting position.

Agree how the readings will be compared

Prepare a record with 仪表 identities, units, direction convention, observation times and the basis for any averaging or totalisation. If process conditions change during the check, log that context rather than comparing unrelated readings as if they were simultaneous. Agree the acceptance method and the treatment of unavailable reference information in advance; this note supplies no universal tolerance.

Request a configuration, not only a family name

• Site and pipe tags, drawing revision and the decision the survey must support.
• Pipe and layer data, fluid information and labelled site photographs.
• Proposed measurement location and the conditions requiring supplier review.
• Temporary or permanent use, receiving-system requirements and requested documentation.
• Comparison method, deliverable format and the items still awaiting confirmation.

Keep the supplier’s confirmed configuration and applicable instructions with the completed records. Mark unresolved questions explicitly instead of filling them with assumed values.
