Identify the fluid
State whether the medium is a liquid, gas or steam. Give its composition, operating pressure and temperature. For a liquid, describe conductivity where known, solids, bubbles and potential deposits.
Define the measurement range
Provide minimum, normal and maximum flow with units. For gas, distinguish actual operating volume from standard volume and state the reference conditions. Include the pipe diameter and internal dimensions when available.
Review installation conditions
Show pipe orientation, upstream and downstream fittings, available straight pipe, vibration and access for maintenance. For an electromagnetic option, confirm a conductive liquid and a full pipe, then check the selected model’s installation requirements.
Confirm materials and integration
Provide chemical compatibility requirements for all wetted parts, including lining and electrodes where applicable. List required indication, totalization, output, power and documentation. Final limits depend on the selected model.
